Marcio Pereira, JustBe NYC designer, is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and immigrated to New York's East Village. Our shirts are infused with the energy, colors, rhythms, and passions of both locales.

After graduating from the Pratt Institute with a degree in graphic design and a brief stint as a freelancer, Marcio began to pave his own way toward a more fulfilling, independent design career. He wanted more than to see his work come alive - he wanted his designs to resonate with the wisdoms of everyday life; expressing ideas through a fun and stylish medium.

JustBe tees are refined with a tailored fit. One of the softest and smoothest T-shirts ever, made with the finest jersey cotton. Our t-shirts carry our relaxed attitude but they are carefully and ethically made in America, sweatshop free. Conceptual design is what we mostly do but at times no concept is the concept. Our designs are inspired by nature, science and our own ordinary lives.

We work hard to make each t-shirt a style distinct from the other in every collection and we don't design thinking of a particular group of people, really! On that note we have a feeling that the face of JB tees will be people who — regardless of age, race, shape or gender — are socially and spiritually aware but also like to party. At least that's how we are over here.

Ultimately we believe that one cannot truly thrive without sharing, and that by giving back to our community, we help make an even deeper impact on those around us. A portion of our profits are donated to charitable causes, and by wearing our designs, you've become a part of this powerful experience.
